Lockdown update Easter 2020
Lockdown Update Easter 2020
It has been a challenging few weeks keeping up to date and adapting to rapidly changing guidelines in dentistry during the Covid outbreak. By now our team will have been in touch to postpone any imminent routine appointments.
In line with Department of Health guidance we presently cannot see patients face to face and are awaiting details of regional centres for patients with severe immediate tooth problems. We will be touch with patients who need access to these as soon as we are given details. For all other patients, call us if you have problems and will will do all we can for you and as the situation as it changes.
Rob has been at the end of the phone each and everyday during normal clinical hours to give advice to patients directly. We also have had a number of emails, photos and video calls to make assessments, plan treatment for when we return and also supply antibiotics where appropriate.
We have had remote and secure access to your clinical records installed so we have the benefit of seeing your x-rays and notes.
Thank you to the support and messages of gratitude from those patients he spoke with already over the last couple of weeks.
If you have any problems telephone us, you will get a response from a dentist directly. Over the weekend and Easter holidays our normal on call arrangements apply so if you need emergency advice you can contact the private dentist on call, details are available by ringing the practice or on our website.
Good luck to fellow parents juggling school children and work commitments. Thank you to all our shop workers, police, doctors and nurses and other key personnel. Our thoughts are with those of you with underlying health problems and vulnerable relatives and hope they stay safe. We look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible and hope you and your families all stay well.
