Adhesive Bridges

Minimally invasive option for replacing missing teeth

Adhesive Bridge

Also called a Maryland bridge or 'sticky bridge'. A metal or white wing is attached to the inside surface of an adjacent tooth (and biting surface if it is a back tooth) to support a porcelain-tooth-coloured and shaped replacement tooth.

This type of bridge is the kindest to the adjacent teeth, as it requires the least amount of tooth substance to be removed to accommodate it. Drawbacks are that it may not be appropriate or overly secure in all circumstances and you will need to check with your dentist if any metal will be visible.
