Highly qualified, Cathy graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 1998. In 2010 she was awarded a distinction in an MSc in Advanced General Dental practice through the University of Birmingham, graduating top of her class and winning the Coltene-Whaledent Award.
With advanced training she is happy to help patients with any problem whether simple or advanced, with a relaxed, gentle approach. She has a special interest in periodontology (gum disease) and the treatment of worn teeth. She acts as a trained appraiser for the Oxfordshire Post graduate deanery.
Cathy has been looking after patients in Oxfordshire since 1999, running a practice in South Oxfordshire until 2016 and joining her husband Robert Hughes to run Eynsham Dental Care in 2017.
Her guilty pleasures include disco music and science fiction in addition to Asian cookery, running and being a dedicated mum to two boys.
Rob’s patients describe him as caring, gentle, thorough and meticulous.
Rob joined the practice in 1999, after becoming a partner he took over the running and renovation of the entire practice with his wife Cathy in 2016.
He has a well established, trusted local reputation and continues to enjoy safeguarding the oral health of families and providing care of the highest quality.
In his spare time he is a dedicated daddy, Formula one fan, accomplished bread maker, mountain bike fanatic, table tennis and squash player.
Kieran qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2001. He obtained his Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2006. After working in general practice in London he moved from London to join our team at Eynsham.
Kieran is interested in all aspects of dentistry, particularly treatment for nervous patients and children. He believes in a kind, gentle approach to help people cope with dental treatment.
He has a young son and daughter who keep him very busy and happy. You may even be able to persuade him to play the guitar which he keeps in the surgery!
Jens has been working with us since 2009 and currently leads our implant clinic, providing Saturday morning implant clinics by prior arrangement. Having provided implants for many of our satisfied patients and our own family members, we trust in his very gentle and methodical manner.
Jens graduated from Germany originally and has completed a range of advanced dental postgraduate studies in the UK and abroad. His training includes a Diploma in dental Hypnosis at University College London, training in orthodontics and dental Implants in association with Warwick University.
